Bonus! August 7, Christ Hears.

Prayers are still being heard.

There are days where it feels like no one is listening. Like you are just screaming into the void and not being heard. The Lord, your God is still listening to you, his voice has never abandoned you and he has never forgotten you. Every pleading whisper of the heart that calls out for something more, the Lord, your God has heard, he weeps for you. Because when you were at your lowest when and when you were alone. He was still there. 

Living that life is easy. Because we live in a world that is designed to drown out the voice. But please, in our present moment “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality. Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep” ‭‭Romans‬ 12‬:‭12‬-‭15‬. The sorrow that we are living through, the chaotic world that feels like it’s expiring out of control, or more people are speaking than ever before, and unless people are actually being heard, there was Jesus. Waiting for you to speak, and waiting for you to listen to him.
