The Keeper's Son (a description)
A young boy named Peter runs away from his home, leaving his father and his cat Samson (or Sammy) behind, so he can join the army raging war on the mainland. Missing his best friend, and seeing how broken his father is, Sammy, Peter's loyal cat sets out from the lighthouse to go and find the lost son and bring him home. The mainland and the path to Peter is much more difficult than Sammy ever could have thought, finding many along the way to help him, and a world that just seems so hard to overcome; Will Sammy, a cat in the wide world, in the middle of a war, be able to find Peter? Or will both be lost to the chaos?

What is the Keeper's Son project
The Keeper's son is a book that I am writing as I am making video's about writing the Keeper's Son. I am using this website as well as social media to keep myself accountable to actually writing the book itself. So far it has worked really well as I went from an unfinshed 3 chapters to a full length draft in just one month since starting this video series. So it is kind hard for me to say that it is not working as intended.
Weekly-ish Updates.
February 28th.
Well. I did another read through. It is fully edited now. I am probably done with it. The book is live on amazon, link is right here as well as like 4 other places on this page. So yeah, I might come back to this project to work on the audio book. But otherwise, I think this project is done. The short videos continue on. And so do I, I'm gonna write other stuff. So Yeah. This is my very last update on this project. Thanks for reading this. Until next time!

February 14th
I am currently working on my final read through, after that, the book should theoretically be good to go. I also finished making a cover for the book. I actually really like how it turned out. I don't have a whole lot to say.
February 5th.
Draft 3 is done. Draft one is the initial word vomit. Draft 2 was major rewrites. I rewrote a lot of it (see previous update). And than I went back through and read it trying to clear out spelling and grammar mistakes. So I consider draft 3 the most readable version. I like it so far. I'm still hoping to release this book by March 8th offically. So over a month from now. And I'm going to let it sit for a little while an than come back to it and see if my opinion has changed at all.
January 28th
I finished draft 1 (on the 25th)! *fireworks* I than over the course of the next three days finished what I am going to call draft 2. Because I quickly cut and rewrote and rearranged a full 25% of the book. So now I am working on super thoroughly proof reading draft 2 so it can become a hopefully readable draft 3. My hope is that draft 3 will be proof read by a couple of my close friends. To which I hope they rip it a new one so it can actually be better. That is my hope. The version that comes from my friends will become draft 4. I will than proof read it one last time and draft 5 will be the version that hopefully gets published. That is my hope. Anyway, the videos are little behind reality as those are still talking about chapter 6. But that is how I planned it to be. I am still aiming for a March release date. I suppose I have all of February to polish it now.
January 7th
It is going, alright. I think. Video 15 comes out today and I am working on finishing Chapter 7 up right about now. My school year starts tomorrow, and I am taking 17 credits, which is a lot of college. So my big hope is that I can continue with this kind of output and creative work even throughout the school year. Which is a pretty big ask. I don't know how well that is going to go. But God will provide. And if this is what I meant to be doing, God will make it possible. And if not. . . Than I pray I crash and burn quickly with this project.
January 1st.
I am now 9 video's in and I'm currently working on chapter 6. So quiet some progress if you ask me. It has 8ish days and I have completed 9 videos. As well as having completed chapter's 4 and 5. Now I am working my way onwards. With a goal of finshing this series by March. We shall see. It is a lot to ask of a college student to write an addition 1,000 words a day every day for 2 straight months. But, I am hopeful.
December 23 Update.
I am currently working on chapter 4 and as of yet have only posted exactly 1 video. To be honest I don't really know why I haven't been doing more. We shall see if I began to to add more over the coming days. The fact that I am making this post tends to be a pretty good sign.
