19 Sharing a passion

 I enjoy telling stories, and I love the opportunity to put a little bit more wonder into the world. It’s why this book exists, I love it. This book, right here, is a combination of all of the things that I am the most passionate about. It took me a long time to get to this place, and it is something that I had to learn. 

I have a good friend who was my freshman year roommate and one of the things I appreciate the most about him is how easy it is for him to be able to share the things he is passionate about. I know very little about science, and even less about math. When it comes to those subjects I am probably one of the stupidest people on the planet. But he adores chemistry, which if you know anything about chemistry, or at least what chemistry looks like, it looks like a lot of math and a lot of science, neither of which I understand in the slightest. . . But! I enjoy listening to him talk about chemistry. Because of how much he cares about it, it is entertaining to listen to him talk about it. Because his passion about 

It doesn’t really matter whether or not people understand what you're passionate about. But being able to share that passion with other people is an honor and a privilege. The most boring sounding thing on the planet, can take on an entire new splendor just based on how much you care about it.
