26 Toys

Who says toys are just for adults? They really aren’t. I don’t think this is as much of a stigma as there used to be when I was growing up about adults having toys. Because adults who still had toys were frowned upon or looked down upon. I think we as a society have been returning to the understanding of how important play actually is, for kids and for adults. 

Life was never meant to be taken this seriously, life was never supposed to be centered around stressing what tomorrow would bring. And yet here we are still stressing out about what comes next. I don’t want to be, but alas that is where we are. Life was supposed to be fun, and you should go out and find some things that make your life a little bit more fun. 

I loved Legos when I was a kid, it was like an entire little world that was contained within just a few square feet. It was fantastic. The little lego People had their entire own world. And now as an adult, I still love Legos. I have many sitting on my shelf that I am looking at even as I am writing this. I never stopped because Legos were and still are something that brought me joy. There is nothing stopping your imagination other than your own judgement of yourself. So why does it matter?
