31 Taking Pictures

There are a lot of reasons to take pictures. 

My sister takes pictures so she can remember moments with my nephews, so that she can have a record of watching them grow up. She takes pictures so that she can remember and so her family can share in her kids' lives. 

My mother takes a lot of pictures to remember things that she used to write down for many years. Things like recipes or cool ideas to use for her classes. Pictures have been added into her life as a means of keeping track. Digitally 

I take pictures mostly as a form of content creation or art. My pictures nearly always have a different purpose or a drive behind them. I’m not good, but behind all of them are memories. 

Good memories, Bad memories, and Memories that you don’t even remember pictures will oftentimes hold the sum of who you used to be. That is the beautiful and terrifying thing about pictures. It is entertaining as it is scary to hold something and look back on it. 

Don’t let the camera get in the way of the moment, but I would be willing to bet that the moments you are living right now are going to be the ones you remember fondly at some point. Because the future will change, and get better.
