16 nature is pretty cool!

Did you know that trees can talk to each other through a complex system of roots and fungi, they are able to send signals with one another. 

You can tell the difference between a red pine and a white pine, because the white pine needle structure has a cluster of five needles as opposed to the two that red pines will have. 

The sound bald eagles make isn’t an impressive soaring caw, it is kind of sad actually. The real sound that we all associate with bald eagles comes from Red Tail Hawks who actually do make that sound. 

Pigs are incredibly smart and social animals. They on average have the same intelligence level of dogs. I also know from personal experience that they can get attached to their owners and the people that feed them in the same way. 

There are certain breeds of flowers that only bloom at certain times of the day. The  flower called the morning glory blooms in the morning. Then when it becomes too sunny the flowers begin to close up. 

The flower peonies require ants to live near them in order to eat away the nectar that keeps their flowers closed. In exchange, the ants will protect the flowers with extreme violence as the flowers are providing the colony with food. It is a relationship that allows both to thrive. Nature is pretty cool, even if you are just looking at it a little bit more closely.
